Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is a spin-off installment of Resident Evil, a popular action game series. The title was developed by Slant Six Games under the supervision of Capcom. The players can assume the role of Umbrella Security Services (USS) agents and look at the events of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis from their perspective. The gameplay was designed mainly to support the cooperation mode, for up to four players, in which participants join forces to destroy the remains of the failed experiments with the t-Virus. The game features numerous characters of the Resident Evil series; some of them are also present in the multiplayer mode.
